I have a number of credit cards which I am really struggling to pay. Is there a way of getting these written off?

I have a number of credit cards which I am really struggling to pay. I understand there may be a way to get the debts written off as I was mis-sold them originally. Please can you help?

When it comes to credit cards, excluding loans, there are three issues which may lead to money back.

1. If you have paid into any payment protection insurance, invariably this has been mis-sold and is re-claimable.

2. You can write to the lenders and ask for a refund on the charges. Anything over £12 is refundable although sometimes a full refund is given

3. If you write to the lender and ask for a signed copy of the original agreement then they need to provide you with this within 12 working days or otherwise the debt becomes unenforceable until they do.

I will arrange for someone to contact you to see if we can reclaim any PPI on your behalf. This is a free service.  Any charges are on a 'no win, no fee' basis.
